presidente
i bought a six pack of beer tonight that cost almost 12 dollars. that is uncalled for. i wanted bud select, they didnt have it...then i saw the beer i fell in love with in puerto rico (presidente) and decided to get it. i asked the guy at the cashier if he was sure that was how much it cost. cruisazy.
i cant find a job. it sucks. i applied for the perfect job today. it is tutoring kids in harlem for the summer. spectacular pay and i have a lot of experience so i figure they should call me soon for an interview. one can only hope. we will see if they call tomorrow. i had to write my first real cover letter.
i had a good weekend after a pretty boring week. i spent last week looking for jobs, cleaning up my room after my mom left, and trying to make myself go to sleep before 4am so that i dont sleep too late. i finished the glass castle. it was probably the best book ive ever read. i went running a couple of times in riverside park. i always end up sitting on a bench watching the soccer games that are going on at the fields down there. i miss playing soccer. i love all of the dogs in the city. i miss lucy more than anything! seriously.
my roommates are from france and vietnam. i went with the french one on saturday to walk across the brooklyn bridge and all around downtown brooklyn. it was beautiful. we saw 3 bridal parties taking pictures at the promenade with the manhattan skyline in the back. the neighborhoods down there are so pretty and quiet. i really wand to live there. there was a dog store that had dog purses that looked like my car...they didnt have a blue one though.
i went out saturday night with a girl i met through kurt. he was out of town. we had a great time!! she is a really fun girl. i spent all of sunday with her too. we went to brunch at my favorite place and went to lay out at central park. she loves gilmore girls almost as much as me and she cares about stupid celebrity things that most people dont talk about on a regular basis. she works in fashion and has a crazy life. she came up to my apt so that i could change for the park, and...i took us on the wrong train! we had to walk around morningside park...a place that i have never walked through. i have only taken a cab through there. it was an experience. i wasnt scared or anything, it is just amazing how different it is on the west side of morningside park where i live. this is the way i came in with my dad and fam when i moved here. i thought it was pretty funny because it seems pretty scary until you make the turn around morningside park and then its the columbia area. i bet they were worried.
i have to say that i look good for 4am.

i know what i am buying my sister for her birthday. especially if she comes to visit me.
ok. going to read. bye.
