cutest movie ever. little manhattan. i really think i could watch it everyday. except that i dont own it. and its never available to rent. so...good birthday present idea.

this was a very funny night out. i love all of the random pictures. we named the guy with the hang loose hand signal kermit. courtney, kellys roommate, sent me a text message across the table that said, he looks like kermit when he smiles...so he is tagged as kermit in all of our facebook pictures.

this picture cracks me up! courtney and kendra are doing THRILLER, danni is being squished by kermit...and kermit is touching courtneys head? i really know how to capture the moment. we did not know this guy until he walked up to our table and smiled like kermit and never left.


this was our whole group that night. kermit stopped all the traffic in the bar just to get this picture of us.


i will have some more exciting pictures once i finish my ghetto throw away camera this weekend. i hate not having my digital camera. stupid tall bar stools and hard floor. goodnight.

jac, moq, foq, joq

these were my nyc international house roommates. jackie, me, falena, and jana.

jackie is 47 and was my bedmate. that is what i call her when i tell stories about ny. or i call her the woman who slept in my bed. she is the nicest woman alive...but i was just not planning on sharing a double bed with a person that i had just met. it was fine. she did spoon me once after having a few drinks. falena and jana slept in the other room aka the living room. they had bad bed problems. the first night one slept on the pull out couch matress on the floor and the other slept on the couch cushions. they would climb out the window onto our balcony every morning to smoke. one time falena busted it while climbing out the window. all i heard was a loud crash, then 'drew......' she was laughing hysterically and then said, 'take a picture'. she scraped up her whole leg. pretty funny.

one night i came home later than all the other girls in the room and they were ALL SNORING. when they would have a few drinks, they would snore louder than usual...and they had all had a few drinks. so i put my ipod on like usual because jackie snored from night one...and then the battery died! so i laid there with my eyes open, listening to three girls snore in a tiny space. i yelled at them all the next day. its crazy how much you can learn about people while only knowing them for less than 2 weeks. we all knew what was going on in each others lives and we had nicknames...and we were the slut room. not in a bad way. the four girls in the other room all had boyfriends at home, so that is why. i was given the name MOQ. (make out queen). anyway, this is my random info about the people i lived with for 2 weeks...

i know i stole this picture from you monica(im not usually a picture stealer)...but this was just one of the most fun, random nights in awhile and i needed a picture of it on here! i cant wait to see your blog about it with the video! after los cucos and the mariachi band, i took monica to learn how to drive my car. she did really well at first and didnt even stall. she drove around and changed gears and everything! she stalled a little later and i think it freaked her out. i think driving a stick is an important thing to know how to do...and guys think its cool that you can do it.

i bought two great dresses tonight from ann taylor. i was really excited and hope that they are 'you look so hot you make your ex jealous dresses'. or...'wow you are skinny and tan dresses'. or 'she looks classy and original dresses'. so i really have been thinking about buying dresses for the weddings i have to attend this summer. and i bought two, and i hope they work out.

gotta sleep so i can meet my professor in a chat room for my online assignment tomorrow morning. i hope i can remember to capitalize the beginning of my sentences. and i hope i have some interesting input to the converstation...weird. goodnight

that is crap

i dont know what im doing. i feel like not going to sleep tonight. i have a online discussion due during my class time tomorrow. i think i can write out what i am going to send in now and just paste it once the teacher puts it up. i watched 4 episodes of greys anatomy tonight in a row. i rented it from blockbuster...blockbuster is a freaking rip off. i rented greys and 'something new' and it cost over 8 bucks. and i only get to keep them for 2 days. that is crap. hastings is much better, but hastings doesnt have greys. stupid. wow, i am writing about the most boring stuff. so how about i post some random pictures..

i heart ny

i had some of the best times of my life the past two weeks in ny. i met 9 amazing friends/other students in the class and had two awesome teachers. we did so much during the day all around the city. we visited so many different cultural neighborhoods. we hit up the ny tolerance center, the United Nations, Chinatown, a jewish neighborhood (Boro Park), Columbia School of SOWK, an islamic temple, the national suicide hotline, hell's kitchen and many more places. i met a boy...well, i actually met many boys. but one in particular stands out. here is how we met...i shared a bed with a woman named jackie(i know, we paid so much for this trip and had to share beds!)...anyway her son came to visit with his gf and they stayed with the gf's cousin...the cousin is kurt. kurt is the boy. i guess we are dating even though we live so far away. today he sent me beautiful flowers and emailed me a confirmation of his flight info. he will be here to visit by the end of the month. we will have to just see how this goes. so many things happened in ny. i wish i had a computer with me there. ill post some pictures randomly and maybe tell some stories. this is the most important thing that came out of this trip...

more to come later. i still have to finish writing my journal for the class. it is our only assignment. i must finish so i can get my A and maintain my 4.0 action! k bye.
