i really havent accomplished anything today, but it was a good day. i saw a couple of friends today that were passing through town and talked to others on the phone. sometimes i feel like i dont have many friends because i dont talk to them everyday. but they come in spurts. sonja stopped by for lunch and lauren came by to learn some knitting. it was good to catch up with sonja and hear about her new boy. lauren brought me a slurpee and we went to walmart to buy some new knitting needles and yarn. i talked to kelly and she was offered a job in chicago over the break. i was so excited for her and didnt realize how sad i was until later that she will be so far away. i think it will be so fun to go visit her and see her apt and chicago, but it sucks that she wont be just down the road...not that we see each other that much anyway, its good to know that shes there. i also got to catch up with monica and talk about our 'thanksgivings' the other day. when we havent talked in awhile, we both sit on the floor in the living room and play with lucy and talk about our week or weekend or whatev. i enjoy that.
i have some very important things due this week. a huge freaking research paper that includes a 25 minute presentation with power point and handouts. my graduate school application for texas state is due friday. i have to finish my essay and fill out the actual application that wont take that long. still waiting on one more letter of recommendation...hope it gets here ontime!!!!! ahhhhhhh. also our OSSW banquet is next weekend and i have to make the slideshow and print some pictures for the other historian.
tomorrow is lucys birthday!!!!!! shes the big 1! what are you going to buy her?? its also my dads bday. whoop.
i have finished two baby hats for the save the children organization. i want to finish one more before the banquet, i hope i can do it.
i was about to put some pictures of the past week on here but it wasnt working...some other time.
