ive decided that i hate heaters. i just like being cold. i went to run at the rec tonight because i wasnt able to run earlier in the day at my usual park because i had to study. i hate going from cold to hot. it makes me sick, literally. i ran one mile on the treadmill and was about to throw up. i had to leave because it was so hot there, i cant believe they would have the heater on in a rec center where people are working out and sweating. stupid. anyway, i had to leave because my skin was all blotchy and i felt gross. i drove by the outside track by my old dorm to see if it was lit and if people were there. it was and there were. so i went and ran the rest, 2 more miles. it was so awesome! i love running outside so much more than inside these days. this was the perfect cold weather to run in too. weather.com says its 46 degrees but my car said 50. we will go with 46 to make me sound more tough, especially because i was running in shorts and a t-shirt. i loved it. my whole body was cold on the outside and warm on the inside. sidebar: its like drinking hot chocolate, i have to sit outside and drink it. i cant sit in a warm place and drink a warm drink. the whole point of it is to warm you up. last night i drank hc on the porch and read my book, it was freezing and lovely. anyway, so i felt safe running because there were other people out there too. the other dedicated runners. ill call myself dedicated even though i almost gave up tonight when i was at the rec. i sat on the bleachers at the outside track and drank my water after my run, i actually warmed up by doing that. all i have left to say is that endorphins are freaking awesome.

i hate people that hit my car with theirs and dont leave a note. take responsibility for your actions idiot(s). i wish i knew who it was. they would get it. and by get it i mean the cops will be called on their butts.

going to shower, make cookies, and read my book. one more class left this week, and my AA meeting for sowk practice and then my weekend begins and then a couple more classes and then thanksgiving break! i am so excited about going home. sometimes i get tired of cs. but i havent been there in a long time, so i cant wait to be there and spend time with the whole fam. i love being in a full house. like the tv show, but more dysfunctional and less hugs.

i want to be a photographer. i always have wanted to but i have never taken a class. i found this girls blog that takes pictures with her awesome camera and i am very jealous. i have/have had nice cameras. digital ones. but i want the kind that you have to take a class to learn about. the ones with the huge zoom. those take the best pictures. maybe that will be a hobby that i can pick up when i grow up and have the money for those freaking expensive cameras.

ran three miles today. i didnt see my rooster though! hes been there everytime but today. i hope hes okay. everytime i have seen him there have been kids chasing after him. poor rooster. ive been wanting to take a picture of him, but i always forget my camera.

have to write a stupid posi paper. ugh. ahhhh. stupid.

i hate the fact that some people do not understand the concept of common courtesy. one example is the annoying people talking during the movie we watch today in sowk practice. the would have conversations and laugh at inappropriate times, and then they would say, what just happened. and the volume was barely working to we had to strain to hear it in the first place. we watched 'in america', that is a great movie. we have to do a family assessment over it, hope its not too difficult.

all i have to say about todays training is: big huge painful blister. ouch. my bandaid moved off of the blister i already had while running 2m today, and now the blister has expanded. i am going to have to start taping up my feet. tomorrow is 3m and im hoping to do it between classes because i have to study for my exam on friday. my professors are having all kinds of personal problems right now. research prof cancelled class today because of his own health issues. he cancels class atleast once a week anyway for something. and my practice prof had to leave early bc her mom isnt doing too well. we talk about families all the time in practice, and she tells us about her mom who has alzheimers and is in a home. i feel bad for her, even though she graded our last case assessments really hard.

mmm. i ate a marie calenders tv dinner tonight. yum.

training:
so today was the first real running part of training so far. i went to the place where i could run outside and i was a little worried. there were all kinds of shady guys around, most of them were drinking beer. maybe they were all just off of work and were relaxing at 3 in the afternoon. i decided that they werent going to hurt me, and if they wanted to i would be running and they were not in shape, so i could run away. so it turns out that the shady guys werent the scariest things that happened while running. a GIANT squirrel chased me. it was scary. i had my ipod on, jammin to 'black betty' and i heard this loud rustling behind me. it seriously was a huge fat squirrel chasing me. i sprinted away and kept looking behind me to see if it stopped. it eventually did and there was a lady pushing her daughter in a stroller coming towards me, she laughed because she must have thought i was crazy. anyway, that really did freak me out. then, as i turned the corner, there was a ROOSTER. a rooster. on the path that i was running on. pecking the ground and what not. i laughed because it was random and it was in no position to hurt me. so i ran for 30 minutes. i dont know how long it was in miles though. i hope it was 3ish. i drank my whole jug of water, 34oz, which is a lot, right after i finished. i couldnt get in my car yet because i was drenched in sweat, so i sat on a bench. it was really pretty outside. im glad it wasnt that hot. also, i really like seeing my shadow when i run.

then i went to the freaking grocery store and bought everything they had because i was hungry. i should have eaten lunch before i left. so i bought tons of random things. gilmore girls was good/weird tonight. i like jess sometimes, and am happy that next week the girls will be happy together again. yes, i am one of those people that acts like the characters are real. im not ashamed, its a good show. my fav. i feel like the only thing i have accomplished today is running. i need to read now. study research test on friday.

today was the first day of half-marathon training. three months from now i will hopefully be on my way to run 13.1 miles! thats crazy. mondays are the easy days, i was supposed to do strength and stretch. i stretched during laguna beach and went to lift some weights at the rec. i dont like the weight room there anymore. lately i have just been going there to use the treadmill and to do abs. i did the lovely stairstepper for about 10 minutes and then lifted. that was the lightest workout i have had lately. it seems so easy compared to running three miles without walking. i dont feel like i have worked out hard if my hair isnt drenched. im really excited about running tomorrow for some reason, i guess because its the first time to run for the actual training. im running a path that i havent run since freshmen year in my running class. we will see how it goes.

i took before pictures last month. i am going to take after pictures after the race is over. i really hope that there is a big difference. smaller butt and thighs would be a good thing. i hope i dont have to run a lot during finals, that would really suck.

past my bedtime. 1:30am. its easy to get up for class if i stick to my bedtime.

i stole this from trent.blogspot.com.(click it to make it bigger) i thought it was great! laguna beach was so good this week. sometimes i cant believe that i like this show because it is about high school. i feel like these kids are grown ups, but they are 4 years younger than me. oh well, i still like it. goodbye
